Ok, something that has just occurred to me and I am just putting these guidelines down in case we end up in this situation.
These are a set of rules which elaborate on rule number 4 in the Charter. There is also a set of guidelines to use if you feel someone has broken that rule.
Note: Rule 4 is mostly an out of character rule. However we still expect students to treat professors with respect during lessons etc.
What rule 4 means. -Do NOT criticise RPing skills, unless we are dealing with constant one/two liner posts in RP situations. - Don't take control of other people's characters unless it prevents double posting, then keep the effects to a minimum so the other person can pick up again. - Do not specifically attack someone ooc. If you have an issue with a member, take it to PM.
If you think someone has broken rule 4 here are some guidelines for dealing with that member.
PM the member in question. Often it will be a misunderstanding and the person will be fine about apologising. If it is God Modding related, and you feel the person could have done something else. Tell them what you think and ask them to edit the post.
If that does not solve the issue, or it was a definite attack aimed at you, take the issue to a higher level. If it is a student or other character you have an issue with, talk to a professor who teaches the course they take. If it is a professor, talk to their HOD, if it is a HOD talk to myself or the Headmaster.
If you receive offensive PMs, do NOT delete them, we may need them for evidence and to help decide how to deal with the offending member.
