Molly headed into town today, in hopes of buying some school supplies. Her very first stop was Rita's writting supplies, she really did need a new quill and what not, and Rita's was probably not the most exciting shop in the shopping complex so why not get it over and done with?
Molly had never actually visited Skeeter Shopping Center, she always used to shop at Diagon Alley. However it was close to the University and for this, Molly was thankful, she was not really up to much of a long journey today, she was tired enough as it was.
Molly couldn't belive how big the shopping center was compared to Diagon Alley. She looked around wided eyed, the shops were so big here, not like the little ones she was used to. Molly found her way to Rita's writting supplies and steped inside, looking at various quills.

As much as he hated Rita Skeeter, Professor Gumbligger loved the Skeeter Shopping Centre. It was so big and amazing, especially since it was just on a university campus!
He had come because he needed a few things before term started. Quills, parchment, textbooks for the students and general things like that. He headed into Rita's Writing Suplies and began browsing the shelves for what he wanted.
It was very crowded, almost everytime he moved he bumped into someone and had to mutter a quick "sorry." He bumped into yet another person and turned around and said "sorry". But he kept looking at her, she looked vaguely familiar. He knew who she was! "Well if it isn't little Gracie, aren't you all grown up now" He smiled at the girl and waited for her to reply.

Molly fell to the floor as some bumped into her, hands on the ground she looked up to see who it was. It was a man, much older than herself, possibly a proffessor at the campus? thought Molly, brushing her self off she heard him apologise twice, "That's okay" she said. Molly stod up and got a closer look at him. He spoke again, calling her gracie, Molly gave him a confused look.
"Gracie?" she asked confused and hopping he would explain himself. Why was he calling her gracie? Do I really look like a gracie? "What do you mean?" she persued, determined to get to the bottom of this. What was he on about? Was there something wrong with him? "I'm not Gracie" she added, feeling very confused.

The Professor looked at the young witch more closely, and he still could of sworn that it was little Gracie, one of his friends daughters who he hadn't seen in many years. He felt his cheeks warm as they went red with embarrasment. "My apologies, I have mistook you for someone else." He scratched his head, then put out his hand and introduced himself. "Professor Ronald Gumbligger, Magizoology professor."
OOC: 50th post yay!

Molly contiued to look at him closely, at least he made some sense she thought. She helped her self off the ground and dusted herself off before speaking to him again. She gave a sigh of relief, when she realized he wasn't crazy or anything, Molly was just a bit too paranoid at times. Smiling she took his hand and shook it, "Molly Cohen, student" she told him. "Wait did you say Magizoology?" she questioned, "That's the subject, I'm taking! Wow what a way to meet" she joked.

Oh dear. My first student I have met and I knocked her flat on the floor and mistook her for someone else. What a great start, Gumby!
Professor Gumbligger smiled as she mentiones she was going to be taking his course at the uni. "That's fantastic, great to meet you. Molly, was it?" He hoped he had got it right this time! He bent down and picked up all the stationery and supplies she had dropped, handing them back to her. "This all your stuff for class?"

Molly laughed as she stod up and got a better look at her new professor. He seemed like a nice guy apart from the whole knocking her over thing. She nodded at her name, "Yup that's right" she replied cheerfully. "Yeah thanks" she replied taking them. "Say when do classes start?" she asked him curiously.
((ooc: sorry if it sucks))

Professor Gumbligger had to think about her question, in all honesty, he had not been informed yet either! "The Heads have not set an official date yet, they are still trying to acquire a full teaching staff. But I imagine it will be within a month at the very latest." He smiled. "Excited to get started are you?"

Molly looked a little dissapointed, "Oh ok" she started, how long would it take? And what was she supposed to do in the mean time? A whole month, that seemed like such a long time, hopefully she would meet some other students by then. Molly smiled at his next comment, "I wouldn't excatly call it excited, its more like I'm ready to start" she told him. After all it was still school work, who got excited about that?

Professor Gumbligger was trying to appear as interesting as he could. After all, this girl was one of his students and he wanted to appear like a good professor to her. "So, Molly. Why did you choose Magizoology? What are you hoping to do with it after university?"

Molly clutched her quills and her books tightly as she listened to her proffesor talk, it was indeed an odd start but Molly was not someone who held grudges unless something really bad happened to her. Molly had to think carefully for a minute or two before answering the question, "Well I suppose its my love for animals, normal and magic alike mostly, that I choose the subject and plus I succeeded at it and well with Animals they'll remain loyal to you always as soon as you earn their trust" she said, "After university I'd love to perhaps work in a zoo looking after them as a sort of healer" she stated.

Professor Gumbligger listened in admiration to her future plans. As she described her love and passion for working animals, it reminded him of his youth, he had been the same. He loved animals more than his own family. Family. he shuddered that he had even said the word in his thoughts!
Feeling that he had got off on the wrong foot with his student, he gave a suggestion, looking down at the materials in her hands. "Please, allow me to pay for those for you. I feel bad for that little incident and would like to repay you so we can start over!"

Molly saw the look on Proffessor's face and she was encouraged to go on, "And besides, animals can't speak for themselves, someone has to be their voice for them, and that's something I'd like to do" she finnished with a small smile on her face.
Molly was caught by surpise at the suggestion, "Oh um its ok, really" she said. It felt a little odd accepting money from a teacher. It was a nice guesture and all but she didn't need him to pay for her.
