Belle was extremely nervous when she arrived, she was usually a wreck when it came to exams. But she had tried her very best to do whatever it took to get into the International Wizard University. She wanted to make her family proud as well as herself.
Her name was called, and she came into the examination room while biting her fingernails. She couldn't help it; it was a horrible nervous habit of hers. But nervous or not, she knew this was important, so she calmed herself down with a couple deep breaths. Looking at the parchment before her, she picked up her quill and began to read. She was to write about Charms. Thankfully, one of her better subjects.
Belle looked at the first question: Please explain why you would like to study this subject. Ok, not too hard.
Charms has always been one of my best subjects in school from the start. I'm intrested to learn new spells, no matter what the difficulty level. Learning the incantations and proper ways of handling a wand have always been one of my strong points. Someday I hope to be a professional in this area of magic.
She read her answer over at least three times before she decided that it would have to do. On to question two: Give a brief description of the subject.
Charms is a subject that teaches students the maneuvering of objects and creation of the seemingly impossible by waving the wand in the precise way along with pronouncing the appropriate incantations correctly.
Belle smiled at her answer. It sounded perfect to her, hopefully the person grading it would think so too. With this she got more confident. Next question: Write some information about yourself. This shouldn't be too difficult. And to make it even better, this was the final question.
My name is Belle Desrosiers, and I am 17 years old, originally from the French speaking part of Canada, Montreal to be specific. I attended school at Addlestone's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where I went on to take N.E.W.T classes on Charms, ending up with good marks by graduation.
Belle read over her entire exam, and then finally placed her quill back on the desk. There. She had tried her very best, and she hoped that it was enough to get into the University she had had her eye on for so long now.
