Vincent shook out his arms a bit, letting his previously bunched up shirtsleeves fall past his wrists. Then he lifted his hand to his hair, brushing it out of his face. He was currently staring at his pen - he refused to write with quills because the ink gets all over his fingers somehow - with a semi blank expression on his face.
He had already looked over the questions and while they seemed fairly easy he was unsure of how to start. He wasn't much of a school guy. He was surprised to have graduated from the American boarding school he had attended until age nineteen and he was definitely wary that if he didn't do this the right way he would definitely not amount to anything in the future. He refused to let his father be proved right.
Clearing his throat uselessly he let his eyes fall to the parchment in front of him. The first question he thought would be the simplest.
He let the tip of the Bic ball point pen fall to the parchment and began writing out his answer.
I've always planned to go to University, even as a child. Though for the first few years of my schooling I didn't get the best grades, I still had a good time on campus. That's including in the classroom of course, not just out on the grounds with my friends. I want to attend this university because I think it's a great opportunity. I will be able to learn from the worlds most known and impressive Professors in the world as well as interact from other people my age from nations everywhere. I'm looking forward to it and the most I can hope for is that I get accepted into the school.
As he pulled the pen away from the parchment he exhaled. He didn't know why he was so nervous. Well, that was a lie, he did know why. For the past few years he hadn't cared much about tests or whether he passed or failed. This time around he intended to try. The next question made him think for a moment but it didn't take too long for him to decide what to write.
He filled in the blank with the words "Auror Training and Potions" before starting in on the rest.
I'm interested in taking Auror training because I think it would be prettybad ass interesting to take down dark wizards. I mean sure, nothing against them personally but the adrenaline career sounds appealing. I've always been good in Dueling class and my Dark Arts sessions with my former headmaster were sweet went very well.
Potions interest me at a high level. I loved potions class back at Brockwood Wizarding Academy and scored very high the last few finals. I was thinking I'd like to minor in Potions because while I'm very good at it, it would probably be better to keep it on the side.
He leaned back in his chair, tipping it onto the back two legs. Putting the end of the pen in his mouth he chewed absently at the cap as he thought about the next question which read:
He frowned to himself. He had pretty much already answered that in the last question. He decided instead to talk about A.T. and Potions in the next empty answer space.
It has always been my opinion that any kind of magic can be used for dark purposes, so I've always disagreed with calling any certain spell or object "Dark". Wizards can be classified as Dark of course, but I think that there is more to it all than the Dark and Light. There has got to be an in between.
I've learned over the years that not everything is as it appears to be.In fact in year five at B.W.A. I knew this dude who was a total ass like the past few years and it turned out he just had major home issues. So really - Some "Dark Wizards" aren't as "Dark" as everyone assumes from the titles given to them by the American, or I guess every, government. The idea that I could take part in investigations and actually prove that fact to everyone else is awesome exhilarating.
Potions is an exact art and very dangerous. It's amazing that the subject is even taught to students as young as 11 in some countries. One mistake, no matter how simple the potion could damn well result in more than one death.
There aren't very many skilled potion Masters or Mistress' and all that do exist are usually more interested in improving on a potion that has already been created rather than to make something new out of raw materials.
I know that I'd rather create something from scratch than to copy off of someone else like all these otherlosers potion makers. I think that in a few years when my bank account has a few more zeros to it, I will invest in starting my own personal research lab to do just that.
He put his pen down slowly and ran his hand through his hair, staring down at the now complete exam with a sense of relief. Vincent got to his feet and stretched slowly, pleased with the series of pops he heard as he cracked his back.
"Damn glad that's over. f**k." he muttered to himself. When he picked up his parchment and glanced up at the front desk he smiled charmingly at the witch who had been overseeing his test taking, hoping she hadn't heard his language. He picked up his pen and shoved it into his pocket before pulling out his wand and levitating his test to the desk in front of the witch.

Why is it that you wish to attend I.W.U (International Wizarding University) and what are your plans for the near future?
