Vernon had dressed for the occassion. He was wearing his one Muggle outfit, which consisted of a plain white shirt, brown trousers and a brown jacket. The otufit was completed by a purple time, bearing the slogan "I believe in magic". He found the tie humorous, even if it did attract some rather funny looks from the Muggles.
At present Vernon was standing on the platforms of Kings Cross Station. He was waiting for his teaching staff, whom he had invited to spend a week away with him in London. The principle behind the idea was that it would be a great chance for all the staff to get to know one another, bond if you like.
As he waited he just observed the Muggles busily rushing by, stressing about everything. Hopefully it wouldn't be to long until someone arrived, he was a bit overwhelmed by the fast-paced train station.

Jane was used to the Muggle world, she was Muggle born herself. She also knew how to dress the part. She was wearing a bright green T-Shirt with the slogan: "The Leprechans made me do it" a souvenir from her last trip to Ireland; a pair of cut off jeans and some trainers. When most wizards went muggle they never seemed to get it right, they either looked like bank managers or totaly insane. She looked around the station for the headmaster, and spotted him quickly. He was standing by the entrance to the platofrms, so walked over to him and said, "Hello Headmaster, dressed for the occasion I see."

Orion dashed through the station looking for the meeting point. His Australian Rugby shirt was too thick for inside and he was regretting wearing it at the moment. Someone managed to tread on the hem of his black baggy jeans, nearly tripping him up. He managed to reach a wall and paused for breath. He was still on time, he just had to calm down. He looked around and spotted the headmaster with another woman, who was obviously used to the Muggle World, though the Headmaster looked less comfortable. He walked over to them and tried not to laugh when he saw the Headmaster's tie.

"Why Miss Granger!" The Headmaster shouted in delight as the first of his staff members arrived. He blushed slightly as she mentioned his Muglle dress. "Well, you have to try, don't you! I see you are no stranger to the Muggle world, been here before?"
The Headmasters attention was diverted as he saw another professor approach. Orion Jetelis. "Orion my friend, how are you?" Out of courtesy he introduced the two professors. "Jane, Orion. Orion, Jane." He laughed at his short and sweet introduction.

Post by Headmistress Lihou Shen on Jun 28, 2006 14:33:56 GMT 7
Lihou slipper through the crowds like a fish in water. She was wearing a khaki linin tunic, with some Oriental patches sewn on in various places, a pair of black loose, but not baggy, black trousers, and a pair of comfortable shoes. It was a look that had been popular when she was a girl. And it seemed to work here. She saw the Headmaster, Jane and Orion standing by the platforms. She hurried over and said, "Good Morning, it's certainly busy today."

Professor Gumbligger got nervous every time anyone asked him to travel to the Muggle world. It was all so confusing and busy and frustrating and nervous and busy and......
But this was special, he was going with all the staff from the university and he saw it as a great bonding experience. When he arrived at Kings Cross Station, he was scared at the sight. It must have been rush hour. Thousands of people, everywhere. Luckily, although the other staff had tried to look the part, they stook out like a sore thumb. Ron headed over to them with a short sigh of relief.
Dropping his heavy case down on the ground, he ceremoniously shook each of the other staff member's hands. "How do you do, Ronald Gumbligger" "nice to meet you" "hi" were just some of his pleasantries and introductions. He then awaited the necessary details of what was to happen next.

Post by Professor Isabel Cifuentes on Jul 19, 2006 7:29:57 GMT 7
Isabel had received the note from the headmaster at the university where she had been given the job as a professor. She had packed already, but she also knew that she was running late. She sighed heavily as she finally made it to the station in London - Muggle London. She was happy that he was not making them dress in robes or anything, seeing as she preferred Muggle clothing since she was Muggleborn herself. She was able to dress better and more comfortable that way.
Today, she was wearing a simple skirt that her mother had given to her before leaving Colombia. The skirt was a rather bright and vibrant orange, but it was also rather deeply colored. She also wore a short sleeved orange shirt that matched, which was not skin tight but molded the shape of her body nicely. As for her shoes, she was wearing flip flops, of all things. What had she been thinking? She was going to meet her collegues, not some people for a beach trip. She would have been better off wearing a pair of stiletto heels with a dress that she would tango in. Another sigh escaped her lips as she carried her bags, as well as herself, over to a group of people that looked oddly out of style for the most part. She said nothing to them, seeing as it was not really necessary. Instead, she nodded lightly, her long mass of waves falling into her face. That was her way of greeting them. She did not want to speak, for she feared that she was somewhat out of place to do so.
As she reached the small group of people, she allowed her bag to slip off of her small shoulder since it was extremely heavy for her to carry. She rubbed her shoulder and then wrapped her arms around her thin stomach, waiting for someone to say something. At that moment, everything seemed so awkward to her since she had not met any of the people for the most part. The only person she actually remembered was the headmistress, and that was only because she had been the one to hold the interview, which had been short.
After a few moments, Isabel helf the sides of her skirt nervously. She was usually not nervous, but this time she was. Sighing inwardly, she said nothing but wait still. After a moment, she bent over ahd picked up her purse from beside her bag. She opened it and started to search intently for something. Chewing gum! After finding it, she put a piece in her mouth, chewing it lightly. She then closed her purse and put it over her shoulder, still waiting nervously.
