The Headmaster had gone through many interviews already today, but he had one more scheduled in his diary. It was for Bioq Harker, who was interested in the Auror Training position. The Headmaster had looked through the applicants resume and it was probably the best he had seen so far. He had a lot of experience and seemed very capable. The Headmaster heard a knock at the door. "Come in." He shouted and greeted the applicant as he entered. "Good morning, thank you for coming. My name is Vernon Dublais, i am thrilled you are interested in a job here. Can I start by asking why you are interested in the auror training position?"

Bioq looked at the Headmaster. He had heard of the famous Mr Vernon Dublais and, just from looks, he was living up to expectations.
Bioq shook his hand, sat, cleared his throat and answered the question.
"Well, Headmaster, I was always interested in becoming an Auror when I was at school. I passed the training and did my time. As you can see I also recieved a couple of scars, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world. I think it's the adventure and the excitement of chasing a Dark Witch or Wizard that gets the young people hooked onto the idea and I want to be there to be able to show them that you need to know a heck of a lot more than just a few protection and stunning spells. In fact I would guess that ever since I was taught by old Gavor Beckett here in my time, I have wanted to train Aurors and to see the new generation growing up to battle evil."
He smiled and awaited the next question.

The Headmaster was atounded by the interviewees reply, he seemed to have come prepared to get the job. He furiously moved his hand over the parchment as he took down the mans answer. "Interesting, you seem very committed to teaching our youth." He finished up what he was writing and then looked up at his applicant, smiling. "And what makes you want to work at the university, not one of the numerous wizarding schools?" He sat patiently, waiting for his reply.

Bioq smiled and a scar strechted itself over his face.
"Well. The students here are more mature, as far as university students can be anyway. The older the pupil the easier to teach because they know exactly what they want and when they want it and they have no qualms about doing the work to get wherever they're going in life. That and the fact that, in my opinion, you cannot train Aurors in schools. The lessons just don't work because the atmosphere is too.....too fragile and young. Whereas university students have been through their teen rebellions and have settled down. Afterall what would we do if a bunch of hormone filled, over excited youngsters had the knowledge to serious injure and even kill other people at the flick of a wrist."
He took a drink of the provided water and waited for the next question.

The Headmaster was more and more impressed with every answer the interviewee gave. He wanted nothing more than to offer him the job right there and then, but he would ask a few more questions first. "So tell me, Mr Harker, where have you come from, career wise? Have you always been a teacher?" He already knew the answer as he had the resume in front of him, but he was hoping for an interesting, detailed answer to come.

Bioq laughed.
"Ah well. As I have already said I trained and worked as an Auror. I did my time and got my scars. But after that I decided I wanted a quieter life. So I have travelled around the globe for several years. I've worked at some of the finest and most pretigous schools as a supply, teaching Defense against the Dark Arts or any other class the needed filling in. After almost five years of that I decided to apply here. Plain and simple. Schools just don't have the right thing for me. University though, well here I could properly teach and train. Trainee Aurors need proper guidance otherwise they'll end up as so much slop smeared onto a wall. I'm sorry. But it is a dark and rough world out there and they must be prepared. In schools I just couldn't do that."
He smiled again and thought about how the interview was going. So far so good, he thought. But you never knew what would get thrown at you next. It was a bit like facing a Dark Wizard in that respect.

The Headmaster was happy with the interview and had no more questions he needed to ask. "Well, thats it Mr Harker, thank you for your time. Before we finish though, do you have any questions?"

Bioq thought for a moment.
"Not that I can think of Headmaster."
The ex-Auror got up and shook hands with Mr. Dublais.
"It's been a pleasure Headmaster."

The Headmaster received the mans handshake, grasping his hand and shaking firmly. "The pleasure was mine. I will be contacting you very shortly about the job. Thank you once again." The Headmaster returned to his seat and watched as Bioq left.
