The Headmaster sat behind his desk and waited for the interviewee to arrive. He was going to be interviewing Ms. Taraka, who was applying for the Quidditch Referreing position. He looked through her resume as he waited for her to arrive.

Karariv walked up to the office door and knocked. She rarely wore formal robes, and felt uncomfortable as a result of her choice to do so today. The stiff black fabric held shape as she entered the room. She was quietly confident, she waited for the Headmaster to say if she could sit down.

The Headmaster heard his interviewee arrive and smiled as she entered the room. "Please, take a seat." He gestured to the chair on the other side of his desk. He gave her a moment to sit down before continuing. "Thank you for applying, I see you are interested in the Quidditch Refereeing position, a nice choice. May I start by asking firstly, why are you interested in this position?" The Headmaster looked into her eyes as he waited for her reply, his quill ready in his right-hand.

"I used to teach flying at a school, and a lot of the pupils were immature or not very good, and I felt I needed a change from that, but sticking with flying. Also, I've seen a lot of younger referees who take risks, which to be honest, is something I don't like seeing them do. And most of the time, they don't need to. I want to try and influence at least some future referees into being more careful."

The Professor scribed down all she said as quickly as he could, wanting all her answers in full, word for word. "Indeed," he replied, smiling warmly, "What you say is very true and it is great that you want to put some sense into those young ones!" He looked up from the parchment feeling he had written everything he needed. "May I ask what you have done in the past, career wise? Have you always taught?" He had some of these answers on her CV but he was hoping for some more detailed answers.

"I started off as a Divination professor, at one of the European Acadamies. While there I also ended up covering a Herbology lesson. When the Quidditch season started I ended up on the Professor's team, and I found I enjoyed it a lot. A year later, I changed jobs and went over to America to teach flying at one of their schools. Then I went from teaching and trained to Referee Quidditch. But after a few months of Refereeing I felt something was missing, and realised I enjoyed teaching too much. So I looked around and saw this position being advertised and knew it was the best one for me." she replied calmly.

"Well, you sure have experience in teaching, I can say that much!" The Headmaster laughed as he wrote her answers down. "Now, the way we will be teaching at the university, you will be following a new international curriculum, much of which you will be helping to write yourself. Would you have any problems with this style?"

"Oh no, that's fine." she replied, "It makes things a lot easier." so had she got the job, the way the headmaster was speaking seemed to indicate a yes, but she could not be too sure.

The headmaster couldn't think of many more questions he wanted to ask this candidate, he was already very confident that she would be a good teacher and was willing to give her the job. So before finishing, he asked just one more question. "Is there anything else you would like to say, anything you think you need to tell me that will help you get the job?"

"Not really, apart from the fact I know I can do well in this position and help produce many excellent Quidditch Referees, which I know the game needs." she replied starting to feel fairly confident.
